At Youth Ignite Cameroon, we believe that every young person deserves the knowledge, confidence, and freedom to make informed choices about their body and future.
We are a youth-led movement, using the power of social media and digital storytelling to educate and inspire adolescents across Cameroon about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
We use Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube to break taboos, challenge myths, and share youth-friendly content on:
Reproductive health and rights
Menstrual hygiene and body literacy
Prevention of early and unintended pregnancies
HIV/AIDS awareness and digital activism
Gender-based violence prevention
Through interactive posts, reels, live sessions, and infographics, we make SRHR learning accessible, engaging, and stigma-free.
We train and mentor youth content creators and peer educators to become voices of change in their communities.
Our digital ambassadors use storytelling, short videos, and live Q&A sessions to educate peers, correct misinformation, and spark conversations about health and rights.
We advocate for youth-friendly SRHR policies and open conversations about sexuality and health — using hashtags, online challenges, and creative storytelling.
Our advocacy focuses on ensuring that every young person — girl or boy — has safe digital access to accurate SRHR information and supportive communities.
